Apes Hill Club is a partnership between Sir Charles Williams, the owner of the largest construction company in Barbados; Wentworth Club, renowned golf and residential developers It is a spacious development on 470 acres at the crest of Barbados touching the parishes of St. James, St. Thomas and St. Andrew with panoramic views of both coasts and will include a clubhouse complex featuring spa facilities, tennis courts, pool and fitness centre. Of the 470 acres, 65 percent will remain as open space. Single family lots range in size from 1/3 of an acre to 1 1/4 acres. Sales have commenced in the Cabbage Tree Green and Great Hill Parcels and construction of the Garden Wall Villas has started.

Agriculture Venture Trust Funded by the United States Agency for International Development, this Trust was formed to assist in agriculturally-related projects and involved the disbursement of a fund in excess of US$12m. We were involved in drafting and settlingof the Trust document, appointment of the Trustees, and obtaining Charitable Certificate from the registrar. Royal Westmoreland Development
A US$20m. residential subdivision located on 490 acres of land in the Parish of St.James, on the western coast of the Island. This development includes a 27-hole championship golf course, and is intended to attract offshore high income bracket clientele purchasers. Our role was to provide legal services to purchasers, including the setting up of offshore trusts and companies and settling and negotiating terms of Agreements of Purchase and Building Contracts. A US$100m. mari Sugar Hill Resort Community Located on 50 acres of gently sloping land, overlooking the Caribbean Sea in the Parish of St.James, is the Sugar Hill Resort Community, complete with Clubhouse and recreational facilities. Hanschell & Company has provided legal services to Purchasers of Club Villas, Courtyard Villas, Tennis Villas and single lots for large Dwelling House sites. The Company is involved in the sale of Tenantry lots under the Tenantries Freehold Purchase Act at Drax Hall Hope, Drax Hall Green and Southeast Tenantry. In addition, sales of Tenantry Lots continue at Eagle Hall, Thornville and Bosvigo tenantries, and Eagle Hall in the Parish of St. Michael. Over 170 residential tenantry lots have been sold as well as several commercial sites.
